Earth Day Durango

Presented by Zia/Sage and supported by LPEA and 1st Southwest Bank, Earth Day Durango start at 10:30 am with a costume parade down Main Avenue to Buckley Park, then continues with food, kids activities, art, and live music by the Stillwater All Stars band and Afrobeatniks. The Theme for 2025 is 'Our Power, Our Planet' - a call for citizens to join the green energy revolution and to take personal action every day to protect our planet. Our local Earth Day Durango team has joined forces with over 10 organizations to bring our community inspiring action/art/education events throughout Earth Month (April), in addition to the annual Earth Day parade and celebration. Dress up as your favorite species (i.e. plant, animal, fungi!) and join the 'Procession of the Species' along Main in downtown Durango as we make our way to Buckley Park.
